Dear Robert – Well it looks like you would not hear from the home if I didn’t write but be prepared for a shock as Dad will get around to it before long I believe! It is getting at it more than any thing. He has been sowing some grain – Ed is plowing with the team the other side of the orchard on the hill side. Of course it would be too wet on the bottom.
Agnes is having such a time with sinus trouble has had to have several treatments. She had such a time with her teeth and had them x rayed but the Doctors say it is the sinus trouble, the pressure on the nerves is causing her trouble. She phoned Tues that she was better but I feel uneasy about her. She has surely had a time and of course you know how deep in gloom Geo. can get especially when anyone gets sick. Do you ever have any symptoms of sinus trouble Robert. I remember how you had to sit with your head down after you had your sinuses packed. It surely is terrible!
The labor trouble seems to have halted temporarily at least at Drain tho’ one man anyway quit because he thought he wasn’t getting pay enough. It happened to be Ed’s brother so we look for him to influence Ed tho’ he may not. It is almost mail time so must get this off. Will not (yet?) mail it as this is Friday and you would not get it any sooner I imagine.
Jean is looking especially well. I think she really had measles a while back, 3 day kind. Mildred is fine has had less cold than she ever had I think.
Much love from all
