    Thank you for scanning the letter and the transcript.

    So, now I understand that C.B. Stickle was Elizabeth Stickle’s father. It’s interesting that he provides an update on Elizabeth’s grandmother. The note suggests she must have been born about 1802, which would have made her about the same age as John McDougall (weaver) who was born in 1803 on Lismore. It’s also interesting that, while John McDougall (weaver) would be your great-great-great grandfather, Elizabeth’s grandmother would be your great-great-great-great grandmother – one generation further removed from you.
